The reason I ask is that last time I tried to install 'git' I had to end up doing things like adding to the $PATH variable so that when I typed git into terminal it knew where to look for to find it....

The phone was one when it 'died' but the screen was blank. I think that 0x8badf00d means that it got stuck in an infinite loop.

This sounds right as the battery died...

Yeah I noticed that, we've double checked it and it seems fine to got for 3GB. It's a late 2006 model, iMac 6,1.

Try changing the Apache server from 8888 to 80. I don't know why it defaults to 8888. Don't worry you can change it back. I doubt this will fix it but it's worth a go.
