I would go with the 2 Quad cores as well, especially if you are going to be doing a lot of exporting (DVD Authoring, Quicktime files for web, etc.) You can always save up extra cash and add more...

I would not recomend turning the broadcast off on the Netgear, have it put out the G signal and have the express put out a 5ghz N only signal (much faster than broadcasting N with B/G compatability).
