School shooting in Finland

crazy freaks, why in the world someone does these things

Just heard about it when I got home from work. Schools principal was shot to death and there maybe more bodies... http://www.cnn.com/2007/WORLD/europe...ing/index.html

It seems there are more deaths, these are students, according to information from hospitals.

It appears that a couple hours before the shooting took place, the student posted a video on you tube warning this would happen.

This is why teachers should have guns...

OK...maybe not that far...but proper parenting is a good one...

A taser with decent range might be a good desk companion for teachers.

So, it's eight deaths now, I think that's the final number

The shooter shot himself to head and is in critical condition now. Shooter wrote a note to IRC-gallery saying that he hated the society and the way of life. It's a shame he had to involve others in his crusade. I hope all the best for the families that are now mourning their losses... and thanks for all of you too. Sad day indeed.

The article stated he legally purchased it since in Finland you can legally purchase and own a handgun at the age of 18.

This is so sad, I wonder how many more of these will have to happen around the world before teachers are equipped with a taser or something.
