So I was at the store the other day, and I saw some tofu. I decided it was so weird that I had to buy it. Now I want to eat it, but I don't know what to do with it.
It's firm tofu by the way... Anyone have any good suggestions for me? Black MacBook Black 2GB iPod Nano & Black 80GB iPod Classic B&W G3 G4's - PowerMac & Cube |

Oh jeez...there is a world of things you can do with tofu. I don't use it much when I cook, but I believe firm tofu is used mostly for stir-fry type dishes.
If you've never had tofu before, it tastes pretty much like nothing. However, it absorbs flavor wonderfully. Try different things with it. Do a quick stir-fry with vegetables and tofu, done in soy sauce, garlic, and ginger. Dost thou think, because thou art virtuous, there shall be no more cakes and ale? |

Stir fry it with a bit of oil and some garlic, perhaps other vegetables. Onions, peas (in the pods), carrots would all be good choices.

![]() You really should use soy sauce though. Like I said, tofu does not have much taste. I'm getting hungry... Good luck with that. Hope it turns out well

Its also nice not cooked, cut yourself a 1inch cube, in a small dish, a bit of soy sauce on top, some Japanese garlic on top, or if you can find it try "miyogo" thinly sliced, a little crushed ginger and some thinly sliced onion. Very Japanese style and very testy.
