What ever happened to small government Republicans? I miss them. Now I have to go out of state to get a stripper after midnight? What crap.

I mean, I don't go to strip clubs. Don't get me wrong. But if I wanted to, I couldn't.

Boo. I can't stand Ohio. Or people that trample my rights.

Yeah, it's ok for government to impose and control individual people's lives, as long as it's morally correct according to a few people, but keep your dirty government hands off businesses who never try to do anything wrong!

Some laws are just complete nonsense, like not selling alcohol on Sunday or any other special day, or the mini-bottle law in South Carolina, which was thankfully repealed.

I keep wondering why someone doesn't soften up the Libertarian Party's message and go to the voters on a platform of "get government off our backs and out of our pockets". Our government is intrusive, but it is so because we allow it to be so. As you see if you read the article above, the bill in question passed by a legislative majority.

We have it in our power to end stuff like this, plus reduce our taxes, plus get rid of truly odious practices like estate taxes, plus plus plus... but we don't do it, perhaps because no one thinks they can get elected on this platform.

I sure wish someone would try!!!

Yes, I am a VERY conservative conservative!
