I know it dosn't start for another 6 days or so, but this will be the official thread for all gaming news at this monumental event--even if you just play DS or PSP, JOIN IN THE CONVO! All gamers (Xbox 360/Wii/PS3/DS/PSP/PC/MAC) are WELCOME.

1. What's everybody hyped to see?
2. Will PS3 actually get some EXCLUSIVE GAMES and make a comeback?
3. Will Xbox 360 have some new exclusive titles to add to its arsenal?
4. Will Nintendo finally show more first-party titles for the Wii and explain their online gaming plans?
5. For PC, will Starcraft 2 have an official release date? How is Crysis coming along--will it ship this year?

E3 holds these answers and more...ARE YOU READY!?

I personally want to see from the following branches...

Microsoft - Metal Gear Solid 4 announcement (hey we got Assassin's Creed, Virtua Fighter 5, and Ace Combat already), some Halo 3 single-player footage and online co-op confirmation, some EA Skate footage, and a Gears of War 2 trailer

Sony - PS3 price cut, some EXCLUSIVE PS3, a new PSP, and a Metal Gear Solid 4 trailer

Nintendo - RELEASE DATES for Super Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, and some MARIO KART FOOTAGE please!!! Also some news on US online gaming would be nice.

PC/Mac - some new Starcraft 2 footage/beta info (if available)

other games - Grand Theft Auto 4, Mass Effect, Bioshock, a new SSX, Resident Evil 5, Dead Rising 2 (rumored), Final Fantasy 13, Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, and Zelda: Phantom Hourglass for the DS

I would like to see some new PSP games. May be even a whole new update to the PSP platform. I think its overdue for an update don't u think?

I'm waiting for Assassin's Creed update, Super Mario Galaxy, Huxley, Starcraft 2 update, or anything new and exciting. Can't wait.

I'm waiting for Assassin's Creed, Unreal Tournament 3 (AKA UT2008), any news on the next Gears of War, and Mass Effect. I forgot about Starcraft 2, seems interesting.

not sure how much weight its holding, but Attack of the Show on G4 did mention an "Assassin's Creed" demo hitting Xbox Live in mid-late July...take it with a grain of salt

MS did already confirm demos, trailers, and other E3 goodies would be hitting Xbox Live each day of the event--including a full video of MS' press conference.

I have never been a "gamer" whatsoever (I played a couple of FPS but very, very rearely)... but about a month ago, my brother turned me on to LOTRO, my first MMO I have been addicted! (not really, but I do highly enjoy it).

I had heard of SPORE, and I'd be interested in hearing something about that come out of E3. When are they going to have it ready to play?

Spore will probably come out AFTER the cure for AIDS is found...Will Wright has pushed it back until 2008 & put the console versions on an untimed "hold"...as for playable, its been playable for months to people in the game industry but I doubt a downloadable demo/beta will arrive this year

Will Wright is the Stephen Spielberg of PC games, it will be a MASTERPIECE when it comes out--but you'll just have to wait until he says its finished.

And of course, Call of Duty 4 (beaten every one on Veteran since the irst came out).

yeah I totally forgot about COD4--the graphics on that are just INSANE, the best I've seen on a console game since Gears

I'm glad Infinity Ward is back on board because COD3 wasn't exactly my cup of tea

Yeah tell me about it! There was a CoD4 gameplay trailer just released and the gameplay looks siiiiiick..

CoD3 was good, but the online was crap-tastic.. I'm a w*ore for CoD2 on Xbox Live.

Well they gave the release date for Phantom Hourglass (Oct. 1) but has Nintendo even confirmed a Mario Kart Wii? I got my Wii for christmas and my DS lite last June, but I haven't played either in over 3 months. There's just nothing entertaining on the Wii anymore, it's been a huge disappointment. I enjoy playing Mario Kart and Metroid on my DS but the online play, while present, is extremely shallow. There's nintendo for you, they don't care about gamers anymore, only their parents and younger siblngs.

I want to see what gears of wars 2 looks like. I would like to see a demo for army of two. I would also like to see Call of Duty 4 in action. The new battlefield demo and the tom clancys end war (omg). Last but not least the GTA 4

^^^GTA4 is going to be the Rolls Royce of sandbox games--cannot freakin wait & to be honest, I want it more than Halo 3.

I'm glad Microsoft paid $50 million for those 2 exclusive mission packs too--PS3 fanboys EAT YOUR HEART OUT

anybody lookin forward to Guitar Hero 3 & Rock Band?
