    Gary Coleman's new ads
for Cashcall - Have you seen these?

The fine print that flashes across the screen is:
"The APR for a typical loan of $2,600 is 99.25% with 42 monthly payments of $216.55."
For a whopping total of $9,095.10.

I thought there were usury laws or something to prevent this kind of thing.

Yea I did too...WTF? It's a good thing I'm not that desperate...but I'll do ads for them for 1/4 of what they're paying Gary Coleman to "act" in.

    Yeah, it's a rip off.

Funny story about how he became the face of Cash Call. My cousin actually works for them and found out the scoop about Gary Coleman. He actually owed money to them and couldn't pay them back. He talked to the owner directly and said that he would forget about the debt if he did commercials. :p

Yup, you have to do whatever it takes sometimes.

Emmanuel Lewis was on Surreal Life, but haven't heard much about him.
