I'm turning back the pages looking at everyone's set-ups, and I must say, I'm really digging your set-up & add-ons, Tron.

What do you think?
all it takes is for someone to brush up against that monitor and it will fall off the table. no way i would have it that close to the edge and hanging over like that.

Setup thread is going a little slow so I thought I would show what I have:

Dinner table dedicated to my MBP retina. lol. My wife and I never eat at this table. Fish tank makes computing here much more enjoyable.

Here is my second set up. Mac Mini hooked up to the tv with 1TB external hard drive. I use one of those wireless solar powered keyboards by Logitech and a magic trackpad. To the left of the tv is my Airport Extreme, Hauppage HDPVR, Motorola Surfboard modem, and Roku 2 XS. Of course I also have an XBOX 360 and PS3 for all my gaming needs. I do not have cable tv as this is my primary media center. I just download/stream everything.

In my other bedroom is a Cyberpower gaming PC (not pictured obviously) as well as this tribute to Mac OSX that I made. It's a laser disc! When was the last time you saw one of those?

Hope you enjoyed my set ups!

For some reason I can't get the picture of my setup below 1500x1500 no matter what I do. iPhoto is usually great for this except for now. I'll figure it out eventually. My setup is just my 13" MBP on a desk with a Lenovo Thinkpad T410. Nothing special at all. Had to crop out my Thinkpad. But here is my MBP.

Back in the Mac camp, hopefully longer than the last time. I've had an '08 Mac Pro, '09 MacBook Pro, PC for a while and a '12 27" i7 iMac

I was very tempted with the Mac Pro although learnt my lesson after the last one, I really don't need the power.

Setup:
15" MacBook Pro Retina (2.3 i7, 16Gb, 500Gb, Intel Iris Pro 1Gb & nVidia GT 750m 2Gb)
Dell U3014 monitor,
Apple Bluetooth keyboard,
Logitech Performance MX mouse,
Ferguson Hill FH-007 & FH-008 speaker system,
Denon D7100 headphones (MBP drives them, will be getting a WooAudio Fireflies WA7 amp soon),
Sky+ HD 2Tb box for TV hooked to U3014 via HDMI
iPhone 5s 64Gb in Gold

That's about it, some pics:
