Hey...i have a question...i am soon going to be making the "switch" to mac, so for my FIRST mac what should i get a laptop or desktop...if laptop im gonna get an iBook if desktop i'll either get a eMac or iMac...so basically, I dont go out that much so im not sure if i need a laptop, but i really like to just lounge around the house. And if i get a desktop...i'll have some serious rearranging to do.

I got an iBook to lounge around with airport and I don't need portability It just adds to fun.. and its better than an eMac if you ask me that was my 2 choices

The main difference iMac to eMac is RAM 1gig max for eMac and system bus speed, again higher for iMac. So if you are planning much video editing use, well just do the math on the Apple web site

Ok here are 2 pics of my setup, which I at first accidentally posted in the desktop customization thread (stupid me). Anyway, you can't see the laser printer or the full sound system the G5 is hooked up to (in the background), but oh wells.

Still in the process of switching and yes I know its messy.

Can someone post me a link on how to post the thumbnail that goes to the big picture when clicked on. I know how to do the [IMG] tags but my pics are too big to show in the post.
