Well I guess I'm not totally surprised. The Motorola cable box I use has been good, but it's my second one and my friends have had reliability problems too

i have a surfboard....
there aren't any problems....
except when my internet connection i down... dunno if it is the surfboards fault *shrugs*- It's like - he was got - they'd just like. It was like so hush hush. They were so... quiet about it. And then the next thing you know...

I've had a motorola surfboard cable modem from road runner for over 4.5 years now and haven't had a single problem. What cable provider are you getting 3mb/s speeds from???? that's like 12 times faster than average.....unless you meant 3mbps (bits not bytes) which is more reasonable.
