I had some company tonight I made leftovers. Pitas and Baba Ganoush W/ red peppers, roasted garlic and pine nuts, stuffed W/ falafel and lentil sprouts on top. I was going to make some yogurt and cucumber sauce but it was perfect as is. Wine was a french Pinot Noir (the cheap kind) Desert Vanilla icecream with a mint oreo ontop!!

Taramosalata is a Greek meze. It is traditionally made from tarama, the salted and cured roe of the carp, though blends based on other forms of fish roe, particularly cod, have become more common.
The roe is mixed with lemon juice, onions, garlic, olive oil and bread.

I'm drinking a Coke and eating peanut butter M&M's. On the upside, I just got done training for fighting fires for the last 2+ hours, so I think I can afford the extra 250 calories...

just went to holiday (fuel/food/etc store) and picked up a couple shredded beef burritos, a small package of dark chocolate (dove), and lay's kettle cooked potato chips (sea salt & vinegar). also made some fresh coffee.

working on the second burrito now - haven't eaten in about 6-7 hours.

SUPER TOASTERS ^_^

Ok actually I have no idea, but to be honest, I find (with my cooking anyway) that what EVER i cook, restaurants make a far superior version

I love my toaster and I always find restaurant toast under done.
I tried Roscoe Chicken & Waffles the other day thinking that it was rotisserie chicken. I was very disappointed, because they used "wheat" Wonder Bread.

The French variety of toast has always held a special place in my stomach. I have yet to find a restaurant that can match what I make at home. Not saying mine's the bees knees or anything, but it's slightly better. I think it's because I don't use that sliced bread. Awful stuff, really. Mostly just air.
