Moving files from PC to Mac.

I have all my files on CDs, photos, etc. On a PC I would just make drag them to the place I want them in the C drive. How would I do it on a Mac? Would it be the same?

You can drag them to a folder or folders, then import photos to iPhoto and music to iTunes, if that's what you want to do.
