Is that Red guitar in the 4th pic a Guild Starfire? At first I thought it was a Gibson 335 till I looked closely at the tailpiece.

It is the Guild Starfire... Good pick!
I love 335's though, my favourites other than my old Les Pauls.
Now I only have a PRS, a couple or acoustics, and an old Fender Rhodes keyboard, as I lost all my gear in a flood years back

That is a shame about the loss of all your music gear.

Reason I know the Guild Starfire so well is I was in a blues band at one time playing Bass and the guitarist had a Red Starfire. Also Buddy Guy (The Blues guitarist) way back before he started playing Strats used a Starfire.

Ditto on my end, love 335's and old Les Pauls.

Nice one...... so now that your "new lady friend" is on here too, does this mean you've converted her to Mac, and there'll be DarkArtLadyFriend on these forums soon?

Haha not quite.. Her windows PC was "fixed" by people she knows.. And now I have to clean up the mess they left.

It boots to XP, somewhat.. There's a lot of driver issues, and most of the system files are missing.. There's about 1.7gb being used, total.. So not much works on it right now.

Just gotta wipe/reload.. But yeah.. We're both not really in a good enough financial situation to afford a Mac..

I'm using a 7 year old Toshiba Satellite running Windows 7 (which is pretty smooth for what the hardware is).

Soon though

Thanks for your optimism! I hope so too.. I've handed out a tonne of resumes recently, so I'm hoping I can get a new job soon.. I need a new computer badly, among other things.

Apart from my not-so-good money situation, everything else is pretty sweet.. My social life has picked back up, and yeah.. I can't really complain about much else.. Except I need my own apartment again.

I hate renting off friend's parents.
