Im planning to upgrade my macbook, i have the CD, im selling it for 1050, and ill be buying a C2D for 1300... But how should i sell the CD? Should I format it, or delete everything on it practically? How can i change the user information etc.? How does one sell one of these things?

The best thing to do is a complete reinstall from the restore disks. But before you do that, make sure you run Disk Utility from the restore disks, and zero out the HD. Once this is done, the next time it starts up, it will be just like if they had just bought it from the Apple store.

the reinstall will take about 60mins at most. The big time consumer will be zeroing out the drive.
