I just reformatted my ibook g3 and now the finder is freaking out, it closes and opens all the time, i can not get access to any discs or the HD. I just installed osx 10.3.4 from some ibook g4 discs but they seem to work just fine(i own this copy of the osx), is there a way to fix this. I am hoping to get this finished by the end of today.

You cannot, repeat, CANNOT use install disks from another Mac model: these are model specific disks. That would explain why your iBook G3 is messed up.
The only thing left for you now is to either reinstall the OS by using the disks your iBook G3 came with or buy off of eBay a Mac OS X Panther 10.3 full install disk. |
