    Working on a 5400RPM Drive
    Im looking at buying a portable external drive, but it is way more expencive for the 7200 rpm ones.... I do final cut studio editing and im not sure of this would slow me down.
    Mac Pro (Early 2009) 8 Core 2.26 GHz, 6 GB Ram, 640 GB Drive. Dell 2408WFP.

    Going to a 7200RPM drive would be noticeably faster.
