OK I have a PS3, and the PS3 has a 60GB HD which is fully upgradable to anysize as long as it is 2.5". Anyway the PS3 has an add an OS option. The main idea being linux as the PS2 did.

Do you think OS X is possibille, in theory! I know there are no bootloaders for it for Mac OSx but there ar for linux.

Anyway popped in to my head and I thought I would ask.

I think it's powerful enough (http://www.gizmodo.com/gadgets/enter...osx-115881.php) but isn't OS X designed so that it will only work on Mac hardware (unless you seriously hack it)? This article is very sceptical: http://www.macworld.com/weblogs/game.../ps3/index.php.

Linux would be your best bet I think.

I think I read somewhere that the PS3 supports Unix-based systems. This is intended for Linux, but OSX might work too. I have yet to find anyone who has tried and reported on a success or failure. Pleasy give it a try and tell us if it works.

The discussion of hacking and using any piece of software against its license agreement is not allowed on these forums.

Yes osx is only allowed to go on apple hardware... I guess the only legal hacking of osx would be to put it on the ipod...

The user agreement was one of those Next>Agree>Next>Install things. I can't say I really read it.
