Any idea what might be included on this sale? I am in the mkt for an iMac and was told by someont to buy before Dec 1 because all discounts would be hatled for Christmas buying.....

I don't know about anyone else, but I have not seen any discounts for Apple hardware. I don't believe that Apple run sales.

I heard that ipods would be 10% off and $5.00 iTunes cards would be handed out in the stores. Don't know if this is true or not.

I really wish they'd put a 5-10% off their notebooks. I'd totally spring for one.

Apple is giving $101.00 off iMacs and MacBooks so I ordered a new C2D 20" iMac with
500GB HD
1GB of Ram
256MB Video Card
Wireless Mouse + Keyboard

I'm pretty happy/excited about the purchase.

I went to the Apple store in Plano, TX and got a new Lacie 250GB HDD with FW800. I'm loading a virtual machine on it now.
