I wonder if anyone can help me out with some advice.

I have a white 2.0GHz MacBook. I've been offered the opportunity of a straight swap for a 15.4" MacBook Pro, but it's only 1.83GHz as the Pro owner wants a smaller machine. What will the difference in performance be like? I appreciate that the Pro has a dedicated GPU, so will the drop in CPU speed be that noticeable? Is this a worthwhile swap?
QUOTE Thanks

all else being equal (i guess even if i had a bigger HD in the macbook), i'd make the swap if you didn't mind a slightly larger machine. the processor speeds are not going to be noticable.

do they have a similar amount of memory?
QUOTE Thanks
