An email from my friend-
__________________________________________________ _____________ So anyway after a few minutes of searching non I love apple sites here it is…… http://news.com.com/Mac+OS+flaw+expo...3-6041685.html http://news.com.com/Apple+patches+Qu...3-6115076.html http://www.zdnet.com.au/news/securit...9234678,00.htm Archibald, who has already discovered a number of security vulnerabilities in OS X, speculates that should Apple's market share continue to increase, users of the platform could actually end up less secure than users of other platforms such as Microsoft Windows or Linux. "The only thing which has kept Mac OS X relatively safe up until now is the fact that the market share is significantly lower than that of Microsoft Windows or the more common UNIX platforms.… If this situation was to change, in my opinion, things could be a lot worse on Mac OS X than they currently are on other operating systems, regarding security vulnerabilities," said Archibald. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/3741871.stm http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/4739432.stm There's loads more…. Just goes to show its because windows it’s a preferred system to be hacking __________________________________________________ _____________ Hes a smart Alek. As soon as I get a Mac he does this. Typical of him, just annoying lol. Can someone put him in his place please? |

Yea, email this back:
"MACS RULE SO MUCH MORE THAN WINDOWZ OMGZ I WISH YOU'D SSTOP TALKING TRASH ABOUT MY MAC IT HAS EXPOSE AND WILL DO A MILLION TERABYTES A SECOND YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW!!!!!11" That'll teach him. But seriously, every "security flaw" mentioned has been patched. That's the great thing about free software updates and a company that actually cares about the consumer. Plus, there are five links there...search "virus +windows" in Google and see how many links you get... EDIT: Just going to add that since Apple has this great reputation of being very secure, when the media catches wind of a security flaw they milk it like crazy. Even the most minor things...where as with Windows a new virus hits pretty much every week, so the media doesn't even care anymore. See my point? Oh, and: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/10651414/ http://www.newsfactor.com/news/U-S--...d=0220026YWR7M http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/8886570/ http://news.com.com/2100-1001-268596.html http://news.com.com/IE+flaw+opens+do...3-5825669.html http://www.cnn.com/2003/TECH/biztech...security.reut/ http://www.eweek.com/article2/0,1895,1837726,00.asp I try to Command+Shift+/ when I can. They're - Their - There | Two - Too - To | You're - Your | MAC - Mac I was on the M-F honor roll for October, 2006.
