i got a macbook back in august, and today i got a copy of mac-world october 06 in the mail. it says its a subscription till feb 07, so is this just something you get for buying a mac or is it just something that maybe i registered for but for some reason i cant remember? either way, this is sweet. i wanted a subscription to the magazine ne way. even if just for 6mnths

My iMac G5 already had the OS installed when I bought it and had already been on the net, etc, so would it have been registered to the Apple Store, prior to my buying it 10 mths ago?

If so that's why this is the 1st time I've heard of any free sub...

That'd be pretty sweet.. I'd sure liek a sub to MacAddict.. Thinking of buying a new iMac to do some sound work on... My G4 Powermac is sluggish when it comes to that.
