I would seriously just give up on computers and go Amish if Microsoft bought out Apple.

But, the Core 2 quads won't be released on Macs for a while...so a new iMac now still blows PCs away. :dummy:

Go use a PC with a Conroe in it. Some of those are definitely faster than the Merom iMacs.

Heh why wait for Apple to release a core 2 quad? I'm guessing here but no doubt they're pin compatible with the core 2 duo so it won't be long before a DIY job is done to prove it works in the current iMac Logic Board
