You want to get a MBP but really like the black case (we all do)...

Check this out, not sure if its worth looking into but it's interesting none the less (ferrari is sexy).

I wonder if they paint over it, change the cover, or apply like a plastiqy film over it (the website probably says somewhere)

They paint it. They started out with iPods awhile ago. They do a good job, but the paintjobs are pretty pricey ($99 just for the Mac Mini). If you want a slick-looking Mac though, this is definately the place to go!

I like the red but it's really flashy. Other than that the only color I would paint it would be black, or leave it silver.

change the body color to "Jet Black" and the clickwheel to "Ferrari" looks just like U2.
