My European history teacher's wife just had a baby, and I'm currently working on putting together a CD of music to give to him as a gift. He is one of the most dedicated teachers I've ever had, and an incredibly nice guy. His last daughter, Grace, died of Leukemia just over a year ago, so this is a truly great blessing for him.

His name, is Mr. Ryan Brown, and his daughter is Eva Grace Brown.

Anybody have ideas for songs?

The one that jumped to mind first was "Mrs. Brown, You've Got a Lovely Daughter," and I also found an old sailing song called "Old Mr. Brown."

Any songs relating to either of their names, or just general songs fitting for a new dad would be great!

I would avoid the songs with their names in it, just seems a little cliche?

Heaven - Live!

Harry Chapin - Cats in the Cradle

listen to the lyrics make sure they are appropriate..
