Hi everyone.

I scanned this photo the other day and just wanted to share it because I think it's so cute. This is my brother's first Chihuahua (named Arnold) who, when he noticed that my brother was packing for a trip, decided to sit in his suitcase in protest. I think he always missed his master when he had to go on business.

Cute, isn't it amazing how pets know what's happening. My dogs do the same thing, when they see us getting ready and me grabbing the keys, they think they are getting ready for a car ride and sit by the door..most often they end up in their crate, but when they do get to go for a ride, they make a b-line to my car and sit by the trunk waiting to get in..

Now in this picture, would be fun to guess the year..based on the luggage, the wallpapers, bedside radio..I'm thinking early 80's?

I guess they're more aware of things than we often give them credit for.

This picture must be from the very late '80s or early '90s, because it was 1988 or 1989 when they got him, and I can tell this was the bedroom in their condo (before they moved into the house they're in now).

Yeah, such as the ability to prevent a medical crisis by taking medicine to someone who is about to have problems. They can smell the chemical change taking place in the person's body. Amazing!
