    Specs:
    17" MacBook Pro
    VERY Useful iChat app
I know that I'm not the only one that is dissatisfied with iChat. So a few mins on Macupdate brought up this amazing app called Chax. It enables MANY features in iChat, and makes it almost as good as adium. Enjoy

ps and the best part is......

ITS FREE (although I'm sure the author would greatly appreciate donations)

Pssh. Until someone else gets UI customization, Adium will always be king.

Adium can't be King until they get File Transfers sorted out, and Voice/Video capabilities.

I use adium primarily but still use iChat for vid/aud conferencing, and AOL Instant Messenger for Getfiles and File transfers
Don't forget to use the new User Reputation System

I use adium for MSN and Aol, but file transfers seem to work fine between MSN users.

O ya, the file transfer problem really annoys me I have to go all the way back to aim 4.7 to make a transfer with aim 5.0 or higher.
