Can anyone tell me if the Linksys router w/ speedbooster actually boosts the signal and if it is better than netgear?

i think you have to be using the accessory gear that works with the speed boosting capability that is proprietary to linksys. i could be wrong, but i am pretty sure. i would take linksys over netgear any day

i own the router, speedbooster only works with windows xp environments. I believe it says that on the box. I never had any problems with mine.
