Well first off, sorry if this is in the wrong forum. I figured switcher hangout wouldn't be right because I'm already a mac user and Powerbook discussion wouldn't be right because It's not a problem or question of any sort and I didn't want to interfere with questions in that forum. Apprently anyting goes here so..

My Powerbook came! It's a 17" one with a 7200rpm 100gb hdd and 2gb ram, and wow.. This thing is awesome! It's faster than my iMac g5 1.8ghz and the graphics card is awesome. It runs Halo perfectly on full graphics at 1600x1050! It's so beautiful. It's so light, so thin! The illuminating keyboard works a treat, the higher resolution is great. It's such a quality product. I think i'm going to stick to powermacs and powerbook from now on. As for my main concern, the noise. It's non-existant, this thing is so quiet. It's, in my opinion at least, the perfect mac. A great destop replacement and a brilliant purchase.

yes, they are whisper quite... and so stylish!! Also the screen seems HUGE to me. Congrats on your cool mac purchase!

What do you plan to use it for? Movie editing, gaming?

Movie editing, gaming, photography, photograph editing, chat, web coding. Yeah... I make pretty good use of macs. :mac:
