Sorry if this is not the correct forum, but I did not know where to post it.

I received an email stating that changes were made to my security questions for my AppleID, which I did not do. So I went into my account and attempted to change my password, which offered two options:
1. Answer 2 security questions. I could not do this because they were not questions I set up, and I did not know the answer to one of them.
2. Send an email notification. When I chose this option, after several attempts of not receiving and email, I noticed that it was sending the email to an address with an extension that was not mine.

So, I am unable to change my password to recover and secure my account.

A few other strange things:
1. It states that the birth date I am putting in does not match the one on record.
2. When I attempted to add another alternate email address in hopes of having the password reset email sent to that one, it gives me an error message stating that the address is already associated with another AppleID (which would not have been done by me).

I feel pretty confident that my account has been compromised. I am not too worried about it at this point, as I do not have a credit card on file, and I rarely have $10 or so in gift card balances.

I searched all over for a way to contact Apple, but just kept going in circles.

Can anyone steer me in the right direction?!!!!

Thanks as always!
