My wife's 13in MBA arrived and is almost finished migrating from her last Time Machine backup.

13in MBA
1.7 GHz i5
4MB Ram
256GB SSD

Of course, I know everything . . . I just can't remember it all at once.

Be assured Razormac it will make your wife jealous if you can't leave it alone!

Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!

The worst part of it is I was content with my 2007 MBP until I started playing with her new MBA.
Am now giving serious consideration to popping for a SSD and using a data doubler from OWC to swap my 500GB HD for the optical drive on my MBP.

EDIT: just did additional research and found out data doubler only works in unibody MBPs so I will have to do a straight swap if I decide to go that route.

Of course, I know everything . . . I just can't remember it all at once.

Nice - Congrats!! I have to admit I sort of want one of the new Airs - but can't justify it right now. If I start traveling a lot again - that might change. Congrats on the new machine.

Thanks!

But, isn't fact that you don't already have one sufficient justification . . . ..?
