:closed: After all the hassle of getting apple to warrant taking a look at my machine, at the local apple authorised dealer, I've only gone and lost my original proof of purchase :mad: :radioacti

Now I have to email a few of my local apple resalers to see if they will accept my serial number instead

You might be able to get a replacement proof of purchase from the dealer you bought it with.

You could also try checking your bank/credit card statements as well...
