Someone brought this in for repair... For some weird reason it kept overheating and wouldn't work properly...

You have to wonder where he was using it? I haven't seen filthy dirt clogged electronics since I left Hawaii. How old is the Mini?

Most of it was nicotine. The mini must have been smoking more than its owner.

Yeah, I've seen computers that look like that before. It's nasty - and you'll never get the smell out either. I had an Amiga 2000 back in the day that I bought used. Got it for a decent price, but when it warmed up, it always had a bit of an odor to it. Try as I might to clean it, it just never cleared up.

Amazing that people walk around drawing that tar into their lungs.

Yeah... took about an hour to completely strip and clean it, but it worked fine afterwards. All except the DVD drive - no matter how much cleaning, it had succum to the dirt... No doubt it'll be back this time next year looking just the same

The photos were taken primarily to show the customer why using their Mac as an ashtray isn't such a great idea lol.

I guess the owner though that Mac mini was Mac mini-vac.

You should give it back with a nicotine patch on it.

Yeah...unfortunately I purchased an old Powermac G4 a while back that was owned by a pretty heavy smoker...and every time I fire it up...YUCK...old cigarette odor!
