Amazon launches Android app store

I didn't notice anyone talking about this so thought I'd share the news. I heard about it last year. It finally went live yesterday. Some pretty cool features including ability to test drive the app right in your browser.

I don't like it very much. Having to use the same sloppy looking web pages to look up apps as you'd look for a vacuum cleaner is really pathetic IMO. Granted, it would take a bit more work and imagination in order to achieve something akin to the real App Store, without actually stealing the entire UI... but they could have at least tried ?
