Tell us what you are doing to celebrate St. Patrick's Day!

Are you wearing any green? Eating any famous Irish dishes? Drinking any green beer or Guinness? Chasing rainbows? Leprechaun spotting? Clover picking? Possibilities are unless!

Let's get a wee bit o' conversation goin', today!

Top O' the Morning to you all.

We are going to St Louis to visit family (and the Apple Store ). Taking along a brisket that I have been brining for a week (home cured corned beef).

Of course, I know everything . . . I just can't remember it all at once.

Nothing like a full belly and the Apple Store for dessert.

Too bad, you can't have a couple beforehand, it would have put you in the right mood all day.

I think I'll a a Guinness

I have got an Irish grandfather, unfortunately never meet him, died in Belgium in 1944. As well as that tracing my Irish routes is kinda tricky, since my great grandfather anglicised his surname when they came over to England.

Due to traveling we actually celebrated St Patrick's Day a day late, so I am sitting in a recliner pleasantly stuffed with Corned Beef, Cabbage, Potatoes and New Castle Brown Ale.

I had the same meal, but I can't ever bring myself to eat the cabbage. When it's cooked, it just looks like seafood to me.

I dose the cabbage liberally with Tobasco . . . makes all the difference.

I just let someone else have mine. It's safe to say I won't be having that kind of cabbage anytime soon. So I guess maybe next year, I'll give it a shot with your recommendation.
