AT&T customers aren't going to like this...

Seems AT&T is cutting out their discount for renewing a one-year or two-year contract similar to what VZW did last week.
AT&T tweaking messaging plans, killing some upgrade discounts, raising fees and MicroCell pricing -- Engadget

On top of that, they are making changes to texting plan offerings, international roaming rates, and some other price and eligibility changes that effect current and new customers. Seems most of this applies specifically to iPhone owners.

This is why I was hoping the iPhone would go to all the other cell phone carriers. Having only two carriers is more an oligopoly rather than real competition for those of us who want an iPhone.
