Sounds like a rant from someone with little knowledge of a product before purchase.

Was this person even trying? Doesn't even seem like they did any research to begin with before they took the plunge.

I liked the part you can't network a Mac to a Pc to move/copy files!! I do that almost daily here.

It's a guy who gets read time on the Huffington Post for God's sake... nevermind. I'll shut up. Sounds less like a review and more like he's making a bad attempt at stand up comedy. This guy sounds like a flaky chick.

I had to quit reading that article half-way through.

Obviously, this guy had no idea what he was talking about, and is as computer illiterate as my great-grandpa. If you don't know computers, you shouldn't be writing a tech article.

I felt a bit like that for a few days after I switched to Mac. Part of my adjustment was to just believe that it all could be so much simpler. And to use the Mac as a Mac without loading on all or mostly PC software and operating systems.

Haha, that was the first thing that really irked me about the "review."

Quote:
I knew that, unlike a PC, I wouldn't be able to connect one computer to another and transfer over my documents. Instead I had to use my external hard drive, like a makeshift canoe, to migrate my articles, music and videos from one computer to the next. Loading and unloading docs to my external drive, I smacked into another iMac annoyance: unlike a PC, the Mac wouldn't let me move files to and from my external drive, only copy them. I realized I'd have to keep a sharp memory of which files I'd copied over -- or move every document twice and see which files it asked me to replace.
There are so many things wrong with that bit that it hurts my head. It genuinely sounds as if he didn't want to like the Mac, found something that didn't work without any effort on his part, and ranted.
