Alright, in a couple days, I'm 2 G3 Powermacs to friends who have purchased them from me. Me and these friends often like to play pranks on each other, and I am looking for ideas of things I can do with Macs. Some of it will be prank kinda things, others will just be little "easter eggs." I don't want to do anything that will be harmful to the equipment, just fun stuff. So far, I just have a couple things set.
There is a pair of purple lace panties with a whistle attached in one of the powermacs. I have a sound file set to randomly play on certain iCal days (I know he won't use iCal, so they'll be relatively hidden). At some point, I'm going to invert the colors on his monitor (ctrl+option+cmd+8), but I want him to see it working first. What other ideas do u all have? |

How about hiding all icons and the dock and then set a windows desktop screenshot as the background...
To hide the icons (incl. harddrive), remove the ticks in the finder preferences. To hide the dock hit command, option + d |

There is some great XP hacks... Many of them more permanent than the Mac versions and are called Viruses... LOL
Seriously though... just google for XP pranks... there is some great stuff out there... You just have to be careful because some of them can be really hard to get rid of.
