Pretty hard hitting documentary on the National Geographic Channel about an outpost/fire base in Korangal Valley, Afghanistan. It runs again at 11 PM CST. It was a bit much and I chose to record the second half as it's not really the sort of thing I can sleep after watching. God Bless our service men and women. Ironically, we abandoned the area a short time later. Mega-respects for the folks who are over there. After that, I fail to see how limited, restricted, restrained or civilized war will solve anything. Talking doesn't seem to be terribly effective either. Very sad.
