    there are so many betas of longhorn and they have been avaliable on torrent sites over the last year and a half to my knowledge.

    i suggest that google will be your tool to find a download for it

    no there is no vista beta ... they just named it that stupid name about a week ago , but there have been no releases of it yet , it's still the latest beta , though it's not worth the time and the bandwidth .

    Yes, the beta releases of Longhorn are actual Microsoft Betas and released by Microsoft. Like it was said above, try google and torrent sites.

    or , dont waste your time with it , because it's a waste of time and bandwidth ... because all it is , is xp with a new theme , and thats about it , a new theme and icons .... also piracy is illegal

    Previously released longhorn builds were alphas, the first beta was released today, and of course, it has already been posted on Usenet and is probably percolating through various torrent sites by now as well. I don't think that anyone is going to tell you how to pirate the thing though. You're going to have to develop those 1337 skillz yourself.

    On a plus note, I saw this in a write up:

    "It includes new user account protection so that users are given only the privileges required to do their work. This mirrors a similar security scheme used by Apple Computer Inc.'s Mac OS X and the Linux operating system."
