You had me all excited there for a moment until I saw that it only plays BD disks, not burns them. But it does burn DVD and CD media. So I guess for $99 it's a bargain. Plextor has always been a dependable name in optical drives although I haven't seen much from them lately.

Caught my attention as well. Its not a bad price considering an external DVD burner runs about 65.00.

Blank blu-ray media is so expensive its frightening lol
