Hi

I've recently joined and am amazed at the amount of info shared here. I will shortly be taking the plunge and switching from PC to MAC as I am completely fed up with constant viruses and problems, even though I am assured my PC is properly protected .

I'm sure I will be asking some really basic questions as I get going, so please bear with me.

Welcome to the community and enjoy the Mac experience.

Cheers ... McBie

A computer lets you make more mistakes faster than any invention in human history - with the possible exceptions of handguns and tequila.
The problem is not the problem. The problem is your attitude towards the problem. You understand ?

Welcome to the forum.

We all asked some really basic questions to start out. And if we didn't, we just waited for someone else to ask them and got the benefit.

I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth.
In the Windows world, most everything folks don't understand is called a virus.

Welcome! You've found the right place

Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!
