Some html5 awesomeness
HTML5: seriously, it's not just for video -- Engadget

And after watching and playing the games in the links on that article I began to wonder what can flash to that html5 can't do better? Nothing

Google has demonstrated how Quake can run in a browser using HTML5: Google Shows How HTML5 Can Run Quake In The Browser.

Actually it's Quake 2 they ported to html5. Which I think is good as it's 100% better then Quake 1 in all ways.

Indeed you're right.

I tried it on my machine a while back. It was a little rough around the edges and was slow but it worked. Perhaps I'll give it another try sometime to see if it has progressed.
