So the question is , how many times will you loan your buddy your iPod before you just go buy him/her their own ? My answer.....5

Ok so I have a buddy that drives 11 hours one way to see his kids every other weekend and has gotten in the habit of borrowing my old nano to plug into his car radio because he hates looking thru his cd's while driving ( granted it is not safe ) but it makes me nuts getting it back and having to resync it to get my content back on it so friday ( i am betting ill see him friday as its his weekend to travel ) he will get a new ( to him ) iPod touch 8 gig thanx to a craigslist add and 99 bucks !

Clay

That was a very nice thing that you did for your buddy. Let us know what his response is when you give it to him!

So... what you are saying is that your nano will be free again every other weekend to loan out? Is that right, Clay, old buddy?

Oh c'mon man, that's the best part!

That was a nice thing to do man. Just a reminder that I am a student and therefore have little money to my name. Therefore, you're more than welcome to extend that generosity by contributing to the "vansmith school fund."

When you said that you were getting your buddy his own iPod...I was thinking you would just be getting him another "Nano" similar to yours. But getting him an iPod Touch is pretty darn cool...and has way more functionality than the Nano.

Maybe he will surprise you with an equally cool gift in return!

I was looking for a gently used nano when I found the touch on craigs list for just too good of a price to pass up.....And the gift I get is not having to re sync all my stuff back to my nano every other monday ! Oh and that great hug
