I definitely remember that one. I remember that one, because the only reason people were watching the stream that day, was to watch Bill Gates squirm in his chair. But Microsoft later took the stream down. But something is quite funny, look at how little Bill looks in his chair as compared to Conan. He looks like a wee-man.

I almost felt sorry for Bill there...... The key word being "almost".

There was actually a Blue Screen later in the show on of all things, the XBox when Conan and Billy Boy tried to play a new XBox racing game. The XBox got a blue screen which suprised me! That might be what you are remembering.

No, they don't hate him. They are just jealous. For some reason it is easier to hate people who are hugely successful than to get out a be successful yourself. I haven't met many people who hate Bill Gates who are very successful. Heck, even Apple execs admire the man for what he has done. I say congrats to anyone who has built such a successful company...and the fact that he is a Democrat is even better!

There is a huge amount of bad blood between Jobs and Gates though, look up some apple history, or check out Pirates of Sylicon Valley. Its actually an extremely interesting story (for me anyways).

Frankly, I've never understood why someone like Gates or Jobs or any of them hang around so long doing what they do. I guess it's just a matter of liking being the guy on top-- but if I were either of them I'd have taken my billions and retired long ago. I certainly wouldn't want the continued aggravation of the corporate BS or having thousands of people posting character assasinations all over the internet, usually for half-assed reasons.

Here's why if I were them, I'd stay where I was.....

This applies expecially to Jobs, but also to Gates.

These are two man who have dreams. Jobs is head of Apple Computer, a company on the forefront of inovation. Jobs knows about products that Apple is researching that we can only dream of. He has a mission, something to work on. And he has a chance to truly make a mark on the world. And he has, but he wants to continue doing it. Some people like myself, must always have a project to work on. Jobs isn't the kind of person who could retire quietly, he needs a project.

The original apple team was made up of visionaries. People with dreams. Steve Capps, founded Onedoto. George Crow, co-founder NeXT. Andy Hertzfeld, Radius, General magic, and Eazel. Bruce Horn, Marketocracy, Inc. Steve Jobs, Apple, CEO Pixar. Bud Tribble, NeXT, Sun, eazel. Steve Wozniak, founded Wheels of Zeus.

They all have been and are taking part in current exciting technological advances, and they all helped to spur the computer revolution. How can somebody go from something that exciting, to sitting in a condo on some island?

Yeh I agree I'm the same I always need to work, its what I do. I really enjoy watching Bill being humiliated, not because I'm jealous god no just because he is the head of Microsoft. Yeah I guess it’s a bit of cliché now the dedicated mac fan who hates Microsoft. But that’s just me. If any one has any more footage like this I would love to know.
