Alright, this is a bit random, but I kinda realized something just a minute ago. I often work on my mac laying in bed before I go to sleep. And tonight, it was sitting open on my bed when I turned off the lights. The backlit keyboard came on, the screen adjusted brightness... I realized that my 17" Powerbook is one of the coolest looking computers around. Now, I go to add some lightsabers in After Effects to a video I did just for fun (I'm teaching a friend who does video editing Print and Web Design, and he's teaching me some Video Editing stuff). Anyways, just thought I'd share, lol.

I love my Mac!

I want a dual 2.7 Ghz Powermac with two 30" screens! lol, well, the Powermac I'll have soon, the screens....those I don't know.

I am lucky, in a way. Every dollar that my Powerbook cost me it has made up in work I've done with it. It has paid for itself. Of course, I appreciate the comment, it's nice to get called "lucky" and u get that little grin....

I actually wound up spending MORE on my Mac than I did on my car! But that's because my parents sold me a good car cheap, so I kinda got lucky on that one.

I can't wait to see her... the 23" monitor arrived today- computer is still being customized by Apple.

You want a dual 2.7 with two 30" screens? Wow- I thought those 30" screens were a little bit scary when I saw them at the Apple Store... the 23" was juuust right (and a lot cheaper!)

Thanks! Wow, that makes one feel good when one hears stuff like that!

I had a similar situation with getting a good car cheap, the car is actually worth more than the PB, but I bought it for about the same...

As for the 30" screens, I am one of those odd people that get a sort of claustraphobic feeling with screen space, so I like as much as I can get. I've never actually seen the Apple 30" screens, but I've seen other brands in that size.
