any games for kids available for older I-mac 83.3 desktop?

I recently was given an old I-mac desktop, I have a couple younger kids that enjoy computers and would like to get some fun/educational disks to use in it for them.

anyone know what games are/were good for younger kids?

im thinking e bay but not sure what to look for

any help appreciated.

os x 10.2.8
500mhz machine
100 mhz bus speed

Mac Specs: 17 inch 2 GHz C2D imac (5,1) with 3GB DDR2 RAM, X1600 (128MB memory) GPU - OSX 10.6.3

Is you can get OS 9 on your computer through OS 10.3 classic or enulating it whrough something like sheepshaver/classic-on-intel you should be ok. And there is a lot of older games for OS 9 out there

And for the more modern games look into the casual games companies like popcap, bigfish etc for games your kids might like and will run on your system. Why I say look for old/casual games cause many of the new modern long games might not work for your machine.

i guess i should add im no geek or nerd, i know very little about computers, upgrading the operating system is something i dont know how to do, and emulating??? no idea

this thing can only connect to the www with a phone jack as far as i can tell?

and we dont have dial up

doesnt seem worth it to buy dial up to upgrade the OS

unless i can download the os into my macbook, burn a disk and do it that way?
