I'm total a noob to the forum and most things mac. I'm about to buy my first mac, I think I'm going to order one of the new 21.5" iMacs soon (maybe next week).

I've had an iPhone since they first came out, I now have a 3GS and the wife has my old original iPhone.

I use my works MS Exchange Active Sync for everything OTA, push email, calander, contacts etc. The wife uses her iPhone for phone calls and SMS that's it (at the moment).

I want to somehow get a shared calendar that we can both access and update OTA but at the same time keeping it synced with my personal outlook callendar which I have on the Exchange server. I'd also like us to be able to access it on the new iMac when we get it. Any ideas on how to do this and the cheapest way to do it? Am I being WAY too ambitious?

I know that it's not as straightforward as both going for Mobileme etc.

I have the same problem - My company uses Exchange and everyone uses Windows PC and the owner's wife is a mac user at home and they want to be able to share calendars from MAC to PC. The owner's and General Managers all have Iphone and wepush e-mail and calendars information to their iphones but I want the owners wife to be able to see his calendar and send invite back and forth from Outlook and Ical

I can make Entourage work but the owners wife doesn't like Entourage she likes Ical and she uses ical with other Mac users

I anyone know what to make ical and outlook work with invites please let met know

Thanks and good luck!!!!!!

I suppose I could set up my work user and pass on the wifes phone and only enable calander in settings but then she'd receive all my work related invites too! And i'd probably get in trouble if found out!
