Hi people,

I'm a newbie with a bit of a problem concerning my iPod.

I signed up to and used iTunes on my laptop (windows) and have just noticed that when I plug my pod in, it charges but doesn't list the pod in the right hand column.

Also, I have just bought an iMac. Is it possible to change my iPod over from my laptop? Even if my iPod isn't back up on my laptop's memory?

Thanks for your time.

That may be because your iPod is formatted in FAT or NTFS, and needs to be reformatted so MacOSX can read it.

Go here, read up, and DIY.

Good luck
