i was reading soemthing online and come up on a computer made by walmart that was made on 2003,and it ran on lindows which was alot like windows but ran on lixus i was like what??? i look on walmart.com but nothinf otehr then a book on lindows any one know about this,the adricle said the they were terrible computers

It was an incredibly cheap computer (i think like 2-3 hundred) with a barebones operating system

Lindows is the version of Linux that tries to resemble the most to WinXP, it is also one of the few that cannot be obtained for free. The problem is that because you don't need too much power to run regular versions of Linux they have decided to sell cheap computers with it (Lindows), designed mostly to check your email, use a word processor and maybe play Solitaire. The benefit is to get a cheap (really, really cheap) desktop or laptop computer, the con is that you will get only a cheap computer. By the way, Lindows is now Linspire (www.linspire.com).
(note that the keyword here is cheap)

yeah walmart cant sell those anymore, i cant believe u dont rem when that happened..
