You see an app in the dock and you dont know what it is, and you wonder about what it is for ages...

Maybe its AIM and somone has changed the icon for it?

I saw a notebook writing sheet thing with a feather on it, i wanna know what it is, i also saw lots of things and i really wanna know what they are...

I do not like seeing anything AOL in a Dock on a Mac!

Seriously though, Yes, I have seen many users Dock's and wondered what a few of the apps were. One time I was going to ask but someone else beat me to it, so I found out without asking. I think it was either MacMans or MacAddict's desktop.

I have so much stuff in my dock, its rarely seen. though I'm sure you'd all be asking what some stuff is.
